Creative expression in the form of food! This is so typical of me - ha! Plus the bonus is that I get to "test out" these prototypes for Christmas 2009 and THEY ARE TOTALLY YUM!!!

It is cold and we got dumped on... BIG TIME!

We have snow, we have snow,
We have lots and lots of snow.
It's too cold, so we won't go...
Anywhere we don't have to ;P

It took some people 80 minutes to go four miles yesterday, and of course traffic slows down the snow plows, so the roads were a mess. We are living in a winter wonderland...
we wonder what to do with all this snow!

One of our neighbors had a great idea... notice the igloo straight ahead in this photo, just below the glare spot - our neighbors from Finland built it a few days ago and it is MUCH bigger in real life than it looks in the photo (it is just a few feet from their house in the background, so that gives you an idea of the size)! The new snow has covered it over so you cannot see the "bricks" anymore, but they really did construct it entirely out of snow bricks. It was neat to watch. Notice I say watch. We were warm inside sipping hot cocoa ;-9 while they slaved away all day. Doesn't Al look cute with her little leg warmer arm warmers? Yep, who knew they make socks for your arms so you can still wear short sleeves in the winter?!

I don't know what it is about snowfall, maybe pressure change, but the kids sleep more when it's snowing and boy did Jacqueline zonk while Alexandra was at school this morning.
